Description of the project

The project involves the construction of a special-purpose helipad in accordance with the requirements of State Building Codes B.2.2-12:2019, taking into account the requirements of specialized and departmental state standards.

The project area already features an established planning structure, specifically the complex of buildings and facilities belonging to the “KIROVOHRAD REGIONAL HOSPITAL OF THE KIROVOHRAD REGIONAL COUNCIL”.

A fenced area with hard surfaces and a concrete platform with markings for landing, parking and takeoff of special-purpose helicopters is being arranged on the site, which is free of buildings.

The design solutions ensure access and passage for fire trucks and ambulances around the helipad, with entry to the site provided through a 4.0 m wide gate.

The necessary elements of landscaping around the projected facility are provided. Next to the helipad gate, there is a turning and parking area for emergency vehicles. There is also a recreation area for medical personnel, featuring with benches and trash bins.

Project solutions

The following sections have been developed in the project:

Explanatory Note (EN), Master Plan (MP), Architectural and Structural Solutions (ASS), External Electric Lighting (EEL), Construction Organization Project (COP), Cost Estimate Documentation (CED).

The construction will take place in one stage.

Design and estimate documentation has been developed for the following objects of buildings and structures, along with accompanying measures, namely:

  • Construction of a reinforced concrete platform for the take-off and landing area (TLOF zone) for helicopters, D=20.0 m.
  • Installation of a hard asphalt concrete pavement to create the final approach and takeoff zone (FATO zone), 2D=40.0m.
  • External fence made of mesh panels around the perimeter of the helipad.
  • Installation of asphalt concrete pavement for the arrangement of a turning area and a stopping place for emergency vehicles.
  • Installation of general lighting and light signaling for the helipad.
  • Improvement of the adjacent territory.
  • Ensuring accessibility for people with limited mobility within the adjacent territory.
  • Installation of the necessary low-current networks.
